Irene Teetzel

Irene C. Teetzel age 93, of Erie passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St. Vincent Health Center.

She was born in Geneva, OH on June 30, 1920 a daughter of the Late Theodore and Myrtle Brown.

Irene was of the Mormon Faith.

She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She loved flowers and animals and her family was the most important thing to her. She was a very caring person who will be missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Teetzel; a son, James Teetzel; three sisters, Garnett, Velma and Dorothy and two brothers, Joe and John.

Irene is survived by four children; Sue Osterberg, John Teetzel, Carol Cauley and her husband Vincent and Joe Teetzel and his wife Melanie L.; two brothers, Norman and Edward Brown; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) today, Wednesday May 14 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and are invited to attend a service there on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
