Ina Ring

Ina Ruth Ring, age 89 of Erie passed away on Monday October 3, 2022.

She was born in Erie on June 12, 1933 to the late Michael J. and Lillian S. Johnson Ring.

Ina graduated from East High School in 1951 and was employed as an Executive Secretary at General Electric for 49 years. She was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Nancy Weisenbach and Carol Lauderbaugh; brother, Robert L. Ring; brother-in-law, Richard G. Lauderbaugh and sister-in-law, Gloria Ring.

She is survived by brother-in-law, Thomas J. Weisenbach, Sr. of McKinney, TX; and by her nieces and nephews, Kathleen Stenger (Donald Ingraham) of Erie, Carol Clemmer (Robert) of Canton, NY, Thomas J. Weisenbach, Jr (Nadine). of Celina, TX, Michael Lauderbaugh (Julie) of Bear, DE, and Robert Ring (Kathy) of Erie, along with numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.

The family would like to say special thanks to the staff of Oakview and Forestview for their care.

In keeping with Ina’s wishes, all services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.

Private burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
