Igna Harf Sender Siegel

Inga Harf Sender Siegel, age 87, of Erie, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Forrestview Skilled Nursing Center.

She was born in Bullay, Germany, February 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Julius and Ida Gartner Harf.

She was a 1944 graduate of Academy High School and had attended Ohio University.

She was a life-long member of the Temple Anshe Hesed, the Temple Sisterhood and the Council of Jewish Women.

Inga was preceded in death by her first husband Julius Sender; a son Martin Sender; and her second husband Martin Siegel.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert Sender and his wife Ellen, Livingston, NJ, Gary Sender of Blue Bell, Pa., and four grandchildren: Juliana, Jessica, Andrew and Matthew, along with her brother Walter Harf and his wife Joan.

Inga will always be remembered for her kindness, selflessness and generosity along with her dedication to her family and her faith.

The family will greet friends and will be available to share memories on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the Temple Anshe Hesed, with Rabbi John Bush officiating.

Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
