Howard A. Hain

Howard A. Hain, age 75, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, at the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.

He was born in Erie, on November 20, 1947, son of the late Eugene and Frances Evan Hain.

Mr. Hain was a graduate of McDowell High School, Class of 1965; and Edinboro College, in 1969; and the University of Akron Law School, in 1977.

He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

An attorney, he practiced law with the firm of Susmarski, Hain & Logue in Erie.

He was a member of St. Joseph Church/Bread of Life Community.

He is survived by four sons, Aaron J. Hain and Stephen M. Hain, both of Las Vegas, Jason Cummings, and Matthew E. Cummings, both of Erie; two brothers, Gary Hain, of Hendersonville, TN and Kevin Hain, of Erie.

No calling hours or services will be observed.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
