Hope D. Ferrington

Hope D. Ferrington, age 66, of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at St. Vincent Health Center.

Born October 16, 1948, in Erie, she was the daughter of the late Donald A. and Eve J. Stebnisky Anderson.

Hope was a graduate of McDowell High School and had been employed as an

inspector of various manufacturing companies in the area, most recently at Caplugs. She enjoyed singing oldies music and baking. Her special love was spending time with her kids, grandchildren and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Angela DeSantis; two sisters: Faith Gehrlein and Love Graf; and her brother Christopher

M. Anderson.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Michael L. Ferrington; two daughers: Anna Tresler of Erie and Amanda DeSantis of Lake City; son, Ben J. DeSantis of Lake City; three sisters: Melody Hause and Starr Potratz and her husband James, all of Erie; Charity Comand and her husband Todd of Rockwell, NC; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Friday from 5 p.m. until a time of sharing at 7 p.m. Condolences may be sent
