Herman Pude

Herman Pude (Peeper), age 57, of McKean, PA, went home to be with The Lord, Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Erie, January 25, 1967 a son of the late Herman and Kathleen Lewicki Pude. 

He was a one-of-a-kind man who always lent a hand to help with anything he could. He was an avid Harley lover and spent his life driving his 18 wheels across the country, as he was the 3rd generation truck driver in which he raised the 4th generation but always made sure he got home for baseball games, soccer games and dance recitals. He loved his time spent at campers hill his “happy place” as he called it. 

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, his high school sweetheart Beth Kemerer Pude; his son Phillip (PJ) Pude (Lauren), who carries on the trucking tradition; his daughter Kayla Pude, who was an amazing caregiver to her dad; 3 grandchildren Renee Pude, Zachary Pude and Miley Pude; a mother in law Joanne Kemerer Connell; a sister in law Diane Kemerer, who helped him round the clock the last few days of his life; 3 nieces that were like daughters Emily Nekoloff (Sean), Elizabeth Heffernan (Shawn), Antionette Caughey (Dom); 2 great nieces, Emma and Cleo and 1 nephew, Cohen

He had a life long friend who had helped him so much, Lois Zeelsdorf.

He is preceded in death by Jae Kemerer and John Connell. 

Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie.
