Harry T. George, age 80 of Erie, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Walnut Creek Healthcare and Rehab Center.

Born in Erie on April 1, 1941, a son of the late Harry V. and Elizabeth I. (Hecker) George.

After graduating high school, he earned a certificate from Erie Institute of Technology and worked at Ervite as an assembler for 41 years.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick George; and a sister, Beverly Rensel.

Harry is survived by two sons, Harrison John George of Cathedral City, CA, and William P. George of Erie; a daughter, Darla R. Jones and her husband Jeff of Columbus, OH; and 2 grandchildren, Emma and John Jones.

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services 3801 W. 26th Street on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UPMC Family Hospice 1700 Peach Street, #244, Erie, PA 16501.
