Harrison Dunn Iii

Harrison A. "Harry" Dunn III, 59, died on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at his home in Millcreek Twp. following a brief illness.  He was born on May 24, 1956, in Erie, PA, son of the late Harrison A. Dunn, Jr. and Patricia Schodt Dunn.  A 1974 graduate of Strong Vincent High School, he worked for Lord Corporation for over 40 years.  He co-owned Little Anthony's Pizza Shop from 1983 to 1997 and trained and raised German Shepherds for many years.  Harry was a member and past president of Lawrence Park Coin Club and was a member of Erie Maennerchor Club, Siebenbuerger Club and Wesleyville American Legion Post 571.  He bowled with the Lord Athletic League, was a huge Cleveland Browns fan, enjoyed fishing and bird watching, and loved attending events where his son's band "French Kiss" performed.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Dunn, and his father-in-law, Frank J. "Buddy" Vaughn, Jr.
     Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Cindy Lou Vaughn Dunn; two sons, Jason Dunn and wife Julie and David Dunn; sister, Christine L. Dunn; and mother-in-law, Donna Ballman Vaughn, all of Erie.  He is furthered survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
     Friends may call Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street., and are invited to a funeral service at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2216 Peach Street, Monday at 11 a.m.
