Harriet D. Lapp

Harriet D. Lapp age 92 of Frederick, MD, formerly of Erie, passed away August 4, 2024 at Heartfields’ in Frederick, MD. 

She was born in Washington, PA on September 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Ted E. and Almira Lewis Davis. 

Mrs. Lapp was a Nurse’s Aide at the V.A. Medical Center on the surgical floor for many years. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Misery Bay Dulcimer Club, and Koinonia of Erie. She enjoyed mission trips, including trips to Jamaica, and West Virginia. She liked dominoes, reading, gardening, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William H. Lapp, in 1993; siblings, Irene Shafer, Olive Johnston, Ted Davis, and Martha Diley. She is survived by two daughters, Tammie Reynolds and her husband Curt, of Frederick, MD, and Beth Zack and her husband John of Erie; a sister, Elsie J. Lilly, of Edinboro; 3 Grandchildren, Kayla (Jon) Long, Krista (Rob) Fritz, Marissa Zack (Kyle); 1 great-grandchild, Braden; and many nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 26th St. on Friday, August 9th from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm. Burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
