Harold Betts

Harold Lee Betts, age 55, of Girard, PA left the earth peacefully on Thursday, November 19, 2015. He was born in Erie, PA on January 5, 1960 and lived a full life.

Harold was very proud of his former employment at Erie Beer as the beer destroyer. He also enjoyed working beside his friends at the Barber National Institute and earning his paycheck. Harold loved watching cowboy movies, wearing hats, riding his bike, going out to eat, and being part of his Lifesharing family. He was very thoughtful, giving, and cared about others. Harold always greeted friends and new acquaintances with a handshake and a grin.

Harold is survived by his brother, Chester Betts, his Lifesharing provider family, Barb and Larry Cadle, their children Nick Cadle (Emily, Olivia, and Evelyn) and Julie Morton (and family), and many friends at the Barber National Institute.

Friends are called to celebrate Harold’s life on Wednesday, November 25th at 6:30 PM for a memorial service at Burton Funeral Home , 525 Main Street East in Girard, PA.
