Harlie Bolt

Harlie Rae Bolt, age 19, of Girard, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Erie, on June 16, 1995, a daughter of Shawn and Barbara Ward Bolt.

Harlie graduated from Girard High School in 2013 and had completed her sophomore year at Edinboro University. She was a standout basketball player for the Yellowjackets. Harlie had a contagious smile that could light up a room and she will be forever remembered for her free spirited soul. She was a member of the Girard United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Irving Bolt and Pearl Ward.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Rylie Jo and Baylie Saige Bolt and her beloved dog, Baxter; grandmother, Ilene Bolt of Lake City; grandfather, Clyde Ward of East Springfield; four aunts: Beth Thomas and her husband Jason of Cranesville, Brenda Jacobs and her husband Kirt of E. Springfield, Brandie Brown and her husband Jason of Edinboro and Andrea Fails and her husband Michael of Girard. She is further survived by many cousins and friends.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard, on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm and are invited to a funeral service on Saturday at 11 am, in the All Faith Chapel.
