Gregory Atchley

Gregory A. Atchley age 60 of Erie, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

He was born on July 8, 1952 in Mount Morris, MI, a son of the late Leon M. and Annis J. (Dix) Atchley.

Gregory graduated from Snowdon High School and Gannon University.

He worked as a telephone operator for Verizon. He was a friend of Bill W. and a huge Steelers fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kari.

Survivors include a son, Matt Atchley and wife Susan of Erie, a daughter Lori Knittle and husband Harry of Pottsville, PA, a brother Steve Atchley and wife Diana of Newark, DE, 4 grandchildren and a nephew, David Atchley.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Saturday from 1pm to 3pm and are invited to stay for the funeral service at 3 pm with Rev. J. Howard Wright officiating.
