Glorydene Pullium

Glorydene Pullium age 60, of Erie, died at UPMC Hamot on Monday, January 5, 2015. She was born in Erie, Pa. on February 28, 1954 a daughter of the late Excell and Jessie Mae Mikel Cooley.

Glorydene graduated from High School in Erie and worked as an assembler at General Electric where she loved her job. She was also an active member of Second Baptist Church. Glorydene loved her family with all her heart and was fond of shopping and decorating her home. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a beautiful person inside and out and really enjoyed life while always putting other people’s needs ahead of her own. Glorydene touched everyone who came upon her with her smile and laughter. Rest in peace my love because you will surely be missed by your family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Kelley Troy Cooley, James Dale Cooley, Sammy David Cooley, Brenda Faye Stowe, Rachel Cooley and Brenda Lee White (Antoine), her stepmother Hattie Mae Cooley, and her second mom Vernice Pullium. Also preceded by a grandson Denairo Price, and a nephew Eric Cooley.

In addition to her husband Ollie, she is survived by her children Terrance Ramone Connors, Syracuse, NY, Tammy Raquel Geary and Tiffany Renee Geary of Charlotte, NC, Ollie Dion Pullium and Jamie Darnell Pullium, step daughters; Talaya Barnett and Lisa Collins, all from Erie; 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters: Larry Cooley of Buffalo, Jerry Cooley (Audrey) of Erie, Sylvester Cooley, Kelly Ray Cooley, Steve Alfred Cooley, Jeanette Rippy (Min. Edward), Vivian Cooley, Bobby Selena Lee (Anthony), Evelyn Excell Cooley, and Ramona Andrews (Harris), all of Buffalo, her Big Sister Monica Pullium, and special nieces Rhonda Cooley, Shelly Cooley Lisa Cooley and Sherry Cooley. She also leaves two special aunts, Jeanette Egana and Bonnie Harper, and a dear friend, Dee Woodard.

Friends may call at Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26th Street, on Friday from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and are invited to services there on Saturday at 11:00 am with Reverend Allen B. Green officiating. Burial at Erie Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26th Street, Erie PA 16504 .
