Glenn McGranor, age 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 25, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 19, 1937 son of the late John and Martha Fuller McGranor.
Glenn was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Germany.
He was the owner of Glenn’s Auto Service for over 40 years, and then later drove a school bus for Millcreek and Fairview Townships for 10 years.
Glenn enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, boating and camping and belonged to the Lads and Lassies Square Dance Club.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty; and six brothers, Robert, John, Ken, Russell, Roy and Paul.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Diane Lindahl McGranor; two children, John McGranor and Susan McGregor (John Coleman); and four brothers, Harry McGranor (Addie), Jim McGranor (Pat), Howard McGranor (Jerry) and Tom McGranor (Denise).
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church 1002 Powell Ave, Erie, PA 16505 at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
