Glenn Francis Baker was born on October 12, 1947. He was the second son of Lucille Catherine (Maher) Baker and Luther Webster Baker. They lived and worked in lower Manhattan, New York City.
After graduating high school, Glenn joined the Army and after basic training was sent to Vietnam.
Glenn served in Vietnam for two years serving two different tours of duty with various Army Armored groups. After Vietnam, Glenn served in Germany for another year and was then honorably discharges with almost six years of service. He was awarded numerous commendations and medals for his service in combat zones.
In 2010 Glenn moved from Manhattan to Erie where he found a little house which he purchased to live in. He loved his home and neighbors, and made a handful of friends along the way. Glenn lived alone and never asked for a thing.
In 2021 Glenn required back surgery and never recovered from the trauma of that procedure, therefore, he spent the last six months of his life in a care facility.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved brother, Lee.
