Gina M. Bizzarro Bird

Gina M. Bizzarro Bird, age 42, of Erie passed away Thursday, March 19,2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 3, 1973 in Erie, the daughter of Ernest Bizzarro and the late Doreen Riazzi Bizzarro.
Gina had attended McDowell High School and had worked in accounting in the auto industry. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic church and enjoyed shopping, spending time in the sun, making people laugh, and being with her son, Ernest. Recently she learned to love the outdoors at her fiancé Doug’s camp where they hiked and enjoyed watching nature. She very much loved the times spent with her family during holidays and special events.
Besides her father, Ernest Bizzarro, Gina is survived by a son, Ernest Bird; her fiancé, Douglas Eaton of North East along with her three sisters; Josie Mook and her husband Carter of Erie; Jennie Bizzarro and Dan Wolf of Erie; Angie Boback and her husband Dennis of Erie. She is also survived by her three brothers; Joe Bizzarro and his wife Erin of Erie; Ernest Bizzarro and his wife Jen of Erie, and Anthony Bizzarro and his fiancé Nicole Beer of Spencer, MA. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and are invited to attend Prayer Services there Tuesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 2401 W.38th St., Erie, PA 16506.
