Gerard Colvin

Gerard “Jerry” J. Colvin, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home, January 4, 2023. He was born in Erie on August 25, 1954, a son of the late C. James and Irene Heberlein Colvin. Jerry was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School and attended Edinboro University. A CNC operator by trade, Jerry was an outgoing and friendly man. He enjoyed reading and was an avid Cleveland Brown’s fan. In recent years Jerry found sobriety and a renewed faith in God having enjoyed services and visits to the chapel at St. Joseph’s Apartments where he resided. 

Jerry is survived by his siblings: Becky Stefnoski (Doug), Jim Colvin (Patti), Tim Colvin (Lori), Terry Colvin (Sharon), and Willard “Bill” Tochenny, all of Erie, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc. West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th St. Erie, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 Noon, with Father Dennis Martin, presiding. Inurnment will be private at Whispering Pines Cremation Gardens.
