Geraldine Wickham

Geraldine “Gerri” Wickham, age 75 of Erie, passed away quietly at her residence November 14, 2016, surrounded by her family.

Gerri’s most passionate and satisfying moments in life revolved around her grandchildren, gardening, and keeping a meticulous home for her family. Gerri also would say her fondest memories are the 20 years she spent at St. Vincent’s hospital caring for any given number of patients on any given day as a nurse’s aide.

She was born in Erie on October 20, 1941, the daughter of Anne Christine Markham and Harry Markham Sr.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wickham, a son Christopher Wickham, four brothers; Robert Spinks, Butch Markham, Paul Markham, and Harry Markham, Jr.; one sister Margaret “Peg” Mello.

Gerri is survived by two daughters; Tina Drayer and her husband Ralph and Vicki Kuneman and her husband John, a son, Mark Wickham and his wife Ginger; 7 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wickham, Ashley Drayer, Brandon Drayer, Michaela, Justice, and Hunter Wickham, and Michael Kuneman; a great-grandson Romero Williams; a sister, Shirley Cooling, and a brother Howie Markham.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street Erie, PA 16502 on Monday form 5:00 pm till the time of a brief prayer service there at 8:00 pm.
