Geraldine A. Baker

Geraldine Alice (Geri/Honey) Martin-Baker, age 91 of Erie, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024.

She was born March 14, 1933 to the late Myrtle (Bolkey) Martin-Ritter and Clement Martin Sr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Allan in 1994, sister, Dorothy & (Palmer) Crock, sister, Miriam & (Stanley) Swiencki, Joanne Ritter, Brothers, Clement (Buddy) Martin, William (Billy) & Dawn Martin, Robert (Skip) Ritter, and Mary Ann Ritter. 

She is survived by two sons, Ronald and Randall, siblings, Richard (Butch) & Lupe Martin, Sally & James McCallion, sister-in-law Mary Louise Ritter, Michael and Joann Ritter and Thomas Ritter; four granddaughters, Jennifer (Ben) Meaney, Jessica (Carl) Elder, Courtney (Cory) Betcher, and Kaitlin (Tara) Troup; great-grandsons, Carson, Nash, Kessler, and Knox; also great-granddaughters, Katelyn, Addison, Hayla, Hyllis, and Savanna Rae.

Geri attended Academy High School, graduation in 1950. She worked at Eriez Magnetics for 30 years. At the age of 41, she became involved in local theater, and also sang at many weddings. She resided at Parkside Senior Living since March 1, 2017. 

Geri was extremely grateful for the special care her son, Ron, extended to her following the death of his father. Whatever she needed he was at her side. Randy has also extended his love and devotion.

Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Jude the Apostle Church 2801 W. 6th Street, Erie, PA 16505 on ­­Saturday, November 23rd at 10:00 a.m.
