Gerald E. Watson

Gerald E. “Jerry” Watson, age 74, passed away on New Year’s Eve at UPMC Hamot Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born on July 11, 1950, in Erie, to the late Leonard W. and Esther (Ebner) Watson.

Gerry loved being a mechanic and working on cars. He was known to his friends as “Einstein”. He will be greatly missed by his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Debra Peters and Kathryn Strohmeyer.

He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his daughter, Christy Richardson (Walter Jr.); sister, Carol Miller; granddaughter, Cheyanne Watson (Xavion) and great granddaughter, Dahlia Jackson.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
