Gerald Bayle

Gerald Bayle, age 80, of Waterford, PA passed away Friday, December 29, 2023. He was born in Erie, January 4, 1943, a son of the late Anthony and Shirley Bayle (London).

Gerald worked as a Machinist at General Electric for over 40 years; he was a craftsman and jack of all trades in his personal life. Upon retirement he followed his true passion and grew his construction business, Jerry’s Remodeling. He loved his family, taking pride especially in his grandchildren. Gerald traveled often, enjoyed studying history, and was great with jokes and pranks on family members.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Domowicz (Geoffrey), Michael Homan (Tina), Thomas Bayle (Debbi), Scott Bayle (Sonja), Sherry Balogh (Jeffrey), Sandie Bayle, and Linda Wagner (Mark). Gerald is further survived by his sister, Sandra Bayle, 15 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Bayle (Bliss), an infant son John Paul, and a grandson Aaron Moore.

Friends are invited to call on the family Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th Street, Erie. Private burial will be in Waterford Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
