George Morgan

George Morgan, Jr. age 66, of Erie, passed away on October 7, 2016 at the Village at Luther Square. He was born on September 28, 1950, a son of the late George, Sr. and Annie Bell Jefferson Morgan.

George was a 1968 graduate of Academy High School and worked as a jitney driver for General Electric, where he retired from in 1998. He was very musically inclined and played the drums, piano and guitar. George loved music and was particularly fond of James Brown, Barry White and Rick James.

George leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Ebony S. (Jamal) Williams and Turkeisha Morgan; his son, George (Lisa) Morgan, III; three brothers, Julies (Ingrid), James and Arthur Morgan; a sister, Annette Morgan; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 West 10th Street Erie, PA 16502 on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
