George Keeler, Jr.

George H. Keeler, Jr., 88, Erie, a resident of The Village at Luther Square, formerly of Mid City Towers and West 20th Street, died Sunday evening, January 22, 2012, at UPMC Hamot following an extended illness.
He was born May 5, 1923, in Canonsburg, PA, son of the late George Henry Keeler, Sr. and Mary Tinkey Keeler.
Survivors include two daughters, Theresa Horsemanko of Erie and Donna Akins of Meadville; a son, Charles H. Keeler of Meadville; a sister, Jean Gass of Meadville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Manuel and Helen Mason.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street.
