George Paul Foor, Jr., 59, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. He was born April 13, 1959, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to George Paul Foor Sr. and Lillian (DiCarlo) Foor and married Christie Lynn (Wuest) Foor on August 14, 1982.
George earned his professional success as Account Manager of Sales at John H. Carter Company in Baton Rouge, using his natural charm and charisma to continually exceed his goals and earn multiple President’s Council Awards. He was an entertainer, storyteller, and natural comedian. He was regularly seen dancing around the house, whether he was making up his own blues song on his guitar or cooking up something in the kitchen, his hips were always swinging. Self-proclaimed, and lovingly referred to by friends and family as The Big Rague, he shared his passion for cooking with anyone willing to try his favorite new southern recipes.
George’s memory will live on in his wife of 36 years, Christie (Wuest) Foor, and daughters Courtney and her fiancé Clif, Alicia and her fiancé Eric, and Georgia Foor. He will also be remembered by his parents, George Paul Sr. and Lillian (DiCarlo) Foor of Erie; his siblings Kathy and her husband Paul (Antoske) of Cleveland, OH; Steve and his wife Nancy Foor of Erie, and Cindy Johnson of Buffalo, NY. As well as his nieces and nephews Ben and Morgan (Johnson), Peter (Antoske), Kate (McCormick), Stevee Jo (Elchynski), and Krista Foor.
