George Feller, Jr.

George M. Feller, Jr. age 90, of Lake City, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

He was born in Buffalo, NY on November 3, 1927, a son of the late George M. Sr., and Bernadette Lavea Feller.

He enlisted in the U.S Navy and served during the Korean War.He worked at Bethlehem Steel as a truck driver and also was a meat cutter at Carols Customs Cutting, which he owned. 

George was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Enjoyed coin collecting, working outdoors in his yard and tool shed and overall tinkering.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George M. Feller III.

George is survived by his wife of  66 years, Carolyn Bauer Feller; his children, Linda and her husband Mike Paskzkiewicz of Rochester, NY, Patricia and her husband Dan Daub of Edinboro and Patrick D. Feller of Girard.  He is further survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard.
