Geoffrey Claridge

Geoffrey H. Claridge, age 66, of Erie passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

He was born in Erie on June 5, 1956, a son of the late John R. and Gay Hadden Claridge. 

He was a graduate of St George High School in Rhode Island and Hobart College in Geneva, NY.

Geoffrey worked as a Certificated Financial Planner for over 30 years starting with American Express

Financial Advisors, then Sorce Financial Group in Erie, which later became HBKS Wealth Advisor.  He

enjoyed sailing and woodworking and was very good with computers and technology. He loved to

entertain and was a great cook. He was also had a black belt in Taekwondo. 

He is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Claridge, of Tucson, AZ and Anne (Scott) Roberts, of

South Hamilton, Mass; a son, Brit (Julia) Claridge, of Boston, Mass; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to Burton Quinn

Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th St. Erie.
