Geneva Brothers

Geneva Brothers, age 82, of Erie, Pennsylvania passed away at Saint Vincent Hospital on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

She was born on January 24, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late Wilsia Mae Davis Tangle and Lee Andrew Brothers.

She retired from Plastek Group after 25 years of service. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved playing bingo, watching cowboy movies, and her walks.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence “Chubby” Brothers, Lee Tangle, David Tangle, and Grover Tangle; and her sisters, Barbara Jean Tangle-Williams, Donna Mae Tangle-Hamilton, Jacqueline Tangle, Brenda Tangle-Clayton, Lynette Tangle-Hancock, Bonnie Atkinson, Gloria Mims, Matalee Chaney, and Anna Mae Chaney.

She is survived by her loving son, Raymond (Kimberly) Brothers Sr., of Erie; sisters, Maxine Fox, of Rochester, New York, Paulette Tangle, Claudette Cooley, Delores Reed, and Doreem (Albert) Logan, all of Erie; brothers, Lee Brothers, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Charles (Mary) Tangle, of Erie. She leaves her grandchildren, Jennifer, Rachel, Stacey, Raymond Jr., and Katherine Brothers, all of Erie; great-grandchildren, Sophia and Savannah Pullium, Sapphire Chatmon, and Aubriel Jones; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of service 11:00 AM at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10^th Street, Erie 16502. Service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/BurtonQuinnScott/ and made available at time of service. Geneva will be laid to rest in Lakeside Cemetery.
