Gary Taccone

Gary R. Taccone, age 56, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Erie, PA on September 21, 1965, a son of the late Robert and Dolores Bolla Taccone.

He was a graduate of Harborcreek High School and served in the United States Air Force.  Gary worked on the City of Erie Police Department for 24 years.  Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Taccone.

He is survived by his son, Zachary (Susann) Taccone, former wife and good friend, Holly Taccone and his beloved cat, Addy. 

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 2 pm until 6 pm and are invited to attend a service there on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11 am. Burial will be in St. Gregory’s Cemetery.
