Gail Nelson

Gail Nelson, 79, of Erie, passed away peacefully in the caring hands of the staff at Pleasant Ridge on Sunday, the 20th of March.

She was born on March 25, 1942 to Virginia and Jim Walker. She spent her professional career in the financial market, working for several banks along with joining her beloved husband Harold Nelson (deceased) in the stock market. She was incredibly independent and savvy when it came to her life and style. She enjoyed spending her days with her dogs and reading any and everything she could get here hands on. Gail will truly be missed for her sharp wit and quick comebacks.

Gail was preceded in death by her father, Jim Walker, mother, Virginia Doyle Walker and younger brother James Doyle Walker. 

A viewing will be held for family and friends at The Quinn Funeral Home, 728 West 9th St. from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, the 24th of March.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Erie Humane Society.
