Frieda Marie Donahue

Frieda “Fritz” Marie Donahue age 61, of Millcreek, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born on November 11, 1962. 

The thing of it is, selflessness was second nature to Frieda. She consistently prioritized others above herself.  Her drive to make sure others felt special was seen through her career as a nurse where she treated her patients with the same compassion that she would her own family.

Fact of the matter is, Fritz LOVED spending time with and cooking a feast for family and friends, traveling to every Hard Rock Café she could find, and was a long-time member of the Knights of St. John. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Angie Runyon; stepmother, Carol Callahan; sister, Lynda Tilton; brother-in-law, Chris Tilton; uncle, David Callahan; aunt, Mary Ann Niedzielski; father-in-law, Howard Donahue; mother-in-law, Barbara Donahue.

Frieda is survived by her husband of 32 years and her high school sweetheart, Ronald Donahue; four children: Jennifer Anderson (husband John), Blane Donahue (partner Abe), Joseph Donahue (girlfriend Stacy), and David Donahue (wife Jessica); son-in-law Jay Fallon; five grandchildren: Naomi Lamb, Mariah Anderson, Aaliyah Anderson, Kennedy Donahue and Harper Donahue; her father, Patrick Callahan (wife Nydia); brother, Patrick Callahan, Jr. (wife Renee); and three sisters: Michelle Callahan, Erin Callahan Spinelli (fiance Rick), and Corina Roberts (husband Anthony). 

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m.
