Frederick E. Webber

Frederick E. Webber, age 84, of East Springfield passed away Tuesday February 11, 2025, at the VA Medical Center in Erie.

He was born in Erie on December 16, 1940, a son of the late Ellsworth A. Webber I and Ruth Erdman Webber Olmstead.

Fred attended West Springfield High School and went on to serve in the United States Army Eighty Second Airborne.

He worked as a floor molder in a foundry for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, picnics, and boating, but his biggest joy was his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Ellsworth Webber III; two brothers, Donnie Webber and Ellsworth Webber II; a sister, Lauralia Asbury; a great grandson, Draven Taylor and his stepfather, Harold Olmstead Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane Mowry Webber; his children, Tina A. Beatty and her husband John, Freddy E. Webber and his wife Tricia, Lauralia Schaukowitsch and her husband Matt, Paul Webber and his wife Lisa, Tammie Webber, James R. Webber and his girlfriend Ashly, Barbara Ramsey and her husband Christopher, Brittany Webber; and stepson Roy Ramey and his wife Michele; two brothers, Albert Webber and Harold Olmstead Jr.; two sisters, Jessie Benson and Becky Saylor Buck; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard, on Sunday from 1pm until the time of service at 4pm. with full Military Honors.
