Fred Nelson Jr.

Fred Nelson, Jr. age 76, of Millcreek, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Greenville, PA on March 8, 1945 a son of the late Fred Sr. and Florence Kobel Nelson.

Fred graduated from Greenville High School and Thiel College.

He worked as a Chemical Engineer at Hammermill Paper for 33 years and then for Loomis as a driver.

Fred loved cars especially his 1968 Dodge Charger and watching Formula 1 Racing. He especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet Chadwick Nelson; two daughters, Tracey Stahura and Amanda Nelson; two grandchildren, Theodore and Devyn Stahura; three great grandchildren; two brothers, James and Michael Nelson; a sister, Patricia Neuenschwander (Pride); several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26^th Street on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m.
