Frani Beth Solymosi

Frani Beth Kronenfeld Solymosi, 69, of Fairview, passed away after a sudden illness, early on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Frani was born in Erie on February 26, 1954, and raised, with her older sister Lisa, in Erie by William and Eve. In high school, Frani was active on Teen Board and as a majorette at Academy. She graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s of science in biomedical technology. Before having children, she was a pharmacy assistant. She also used her talents as an instructor at Barbizon for aspiring models. From her only marriage, she had three children, Tibor, Miklos, and Ranen, to whom she devoted the whole of herself to raising and caring for them. The true love of her life was her dear Zeus, a yellow Labrador Retriever. Throughout her life, she was always a source of light, laughter, and love. Her compassion seemed to know no bounds. Whenever she entered a room, it lit up, not only from her beauty but from her charm and wit. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, meditation, reading, watching Penn State Football, and doing science experiments with her granddaughter. Her care and compassion for others led her to write a book, published in 2014, titled “Living in the Awareness of the Heart: A Journey of Conscious Evolution.” She will be dearly missed by the many people she has helped throughout the years in myriad ways.

She is preceded in death by her parents and Zeus. She is survived by her sons, Tibor, Miklos, and Ranen (Carole), her grandchild, Skye, her sister, Lisa Steindel (Stephen), and her many nieces and nephews.
