Frances Senger

Frances E. Senger, age 85, of Erie died Sunday April 7, 2013 at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge.
She was born on March 19, 1928 in Erie to the late Macarius and Bertha Pfeffer Senger.
 
Frances graduated from Millcreek High School.
 
She was employed as a office manager and professional secretary for Prudential Insurance for 37 years, retiring out of the Greentree Office in Pittsburgh in 1993.
 
Frances was a volunteer for the St. Martin's Center, avid reader, stamp collector, enjoyed crossword puzzles, bird lover and also collected bird statuary. 
 
She would often thank her family for allowing them to share their children with her.
 
In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her brothers, Macarius Senger Jr. and Wilbur Senger; sister-in-law Theresa Senger; nieces, Susan Wolf and Patricia Wright.
 
She is survived by a brother, Alfred Senger and wife Marianne of Girard; sister-in-law, Evelyn Senger of Erie; nieces, Mary Beth Anthony and husband Lee of Erie, Melinda Pazun and husband Jim of Charlotte, NC, Nancy Irwin and husband Jason of Erie, Kathy Heiter and husband Steve of North East; nephews, Richard Senger and wife Chris of Porter, TX, Edward Senger of Sevierville, Tenn., David Senger and wife Kathy of Waterford, Allen Senger of Cleveland, TX, Kurt Senger and wife Chris of Clinton, NC, Mark Senger of Erie; numerous great nieces and nephews; great great nieces and nephews and cousins.
 
Friends may call at St. Mary's Asbury Ridge, 4855 West Ridge Road, Erie, PA on Thursday at 12:00 pm until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the St. Mary's Chapel.  Officiating Rev. G. William Fischer, OSFS, Chaplain of St. Mary's Asbury Ridge.  Interment Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Erie.
