Frances Rapp

Frances Mae Zurn Rapp, age 91, of Millcreek, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at LECOM Senior Living Center.

She was born in Erie March 15, 1926, the daughter of the late Clarence and Louise Berchtold Zurn.

She had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She loved to garden, walk, watch sunsets, and sit on her porch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Quentin Rapp, a brother, Fred Zurn, a sister, Marlyn Johnson, and a great granddaughter Faith Anderson.

She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Rightnour of Erie; two sons: Robert V. Rapp and his wife Carolyn of Florida and Steven C. Rapp, of Erie; five grandchildren: Christen Rapp, Amy Kossbiel, Matthew Rapp and his wife Kielly, Megan Rightnour, and Mindy Nitkiewicz and her husband Chip; great grandchildren: RJ, Lindsay, Cody, Ashley, Colten, Rachel, Nolan, Aubrey, Alex, Brock, Jazlyn, Damien, Caleb; her friends Joyce and Pearl; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the Burton West Funeral Home, 3801 West 26^th St. Erie.
