Frances Porris

Frances Kimmel Porris, age 92, of Erie, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her residence.

Frances was born in Erie, the daughter of the late Sam and Lena Tanenbaum Kimmel on December 25, 1928.

Frances was a graduate of Academy High School. She was a member of Temple Anshe Hesed.

She enjoyed playing bridge, her home, and being with her family. Frances was a wonderful, kind, and

sweet person who was always there for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Raymon S. Porris and her two

brothers, William and Benjamin Kimmel.

Frances is survived by a son, Richard Scott Porris; a daughter, Janet Kreindel; grandchildren, Samantha

Richter and her husband Jason; and Eric Kreindel; great-granddaughter, Lila Richter; as well as several

nieces and nephews.

Service Inc. Downtown 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service there at 12:30

pm. with Rabbi Rob Morais officiating. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
