Frances Kupczyk

Frances J. Kupczyk, age 95, of Erie, died on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Erie on March 23rd, 1918 daughter of the late Angela Marie Berarducci / Pagliari and John Berarducci and Pietro Pagliari.

She enjoyed cooking for the family, spending time with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing cards, and her steady companion Max, the family dog. She will be missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester J. Kupczyk, whom she married on Feb. 18 1939. Brothers: Joseph, Sylvester, Louis, Raymond, and Billy; sisters: Fadele, Anna, and Angeline.

She is survived by two daughters, Judith Berarducci and Elayne (Buto) Iavarone and her husband Angelo both of Erie, one son, Chester R. Kupczyk and wife Carrie of Liverpool, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dr. Michael Berarducci, of Boston MA, Michele Kupczyk, Lesley Frazier, Jennifer Kupczyk, Kelsey Pecorella, Corey Gerbracht, Ryan Buto, Joel Kupczyk, Philip and Ryan Iavarone; one brother John Pagliari; two sisters, Louise Kwitowski and Lenore Zeisler; and great-grandchildren: Max, Ava, Luke, Zachary, Tyler, Brody, Josie, Burk, Molly, and Layla. Further survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, on Friday from 2 to 4pm and from 6 until the time of service at 8pm. with Rev. Alexander Amico celebrant.
