Frances Anderson

Frances E. Anderson, age 97, of Erie, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at LECOM Senior Living.

She was born June 12, 1923 in Ridgway, PA to the late Ellis Johnson and Helga (Carlson) Johnson Abplanalp.

Frances graduated from Ridgway Area High School and retired as a bookkeeper from Mayer Brothers Construction Company.

She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Leonard (Len) Anderson, whom she married on May 19, 1943, and who passed away in 2010; her brother, Elwood Johnson, sister, Clarice Johnson, and son-in-law, Leroy (Buddy) Baxter.

She is survived by her daughters, Janelle Baxter and Lorie (Bruce) Miller, grandchildren, Brian (AnnaMarie) Baxter, Kristen Glass, and Andrew (Julie) Miller, and great grandchildren, Rhylee and Avery Baxter, Alexis, Gia and Levi Glass, and Anna, Nora, and Anders Miller.  Many nieces and nephews further survive.

Services are private at the convenience of the family, and entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., West Ridge 3801 West 26^th Street.  The private service will be livestreamed for public viewing on our Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/BurtonQuinnScott/ on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 1 p.m.
