Francene L. Moore

Francene Moore passed away Friday, February 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 29, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Elbert "Boyd" and Emanuella Moore. Francene worked at St. Vincent's hospital for over 25 years as a unit secretary. She really loved and enjoyed her job.

Francene was a cancer warrior! She fought this battle for 15 years, and was one of the strongest women you would ever meet. 

There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. When her health still permitted, she loved playing bingo! Francene was the neighborhood grandma and was loved by so many. Prior to living in Erie, Francene lived in Lima, Ohio.

Francene is preceded in death by her loving parents, her son, Antonio Moore and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Tyonna Moore (Russell Thornton), her grandchildren Antonio Moore, Deverick Ohmer, DeAsia Moore, Kayla Ohmer, Kanisha Holloway, Devon Tharp, Raven Moore, Emmanuella Moore, Sean Holmes and Kiara Francene Moore. Her God daughter, Quanna Johnson, 13 great- grandchildren, cousins, and many friends that were more like family. 

Friends are invited to call on the family on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie. Burial to follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
