Fraisy Villers

Fraisy Ann Villers, age 91, of Fairview, died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at her home. Born in Webster Springs, WV, on February 16, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Utt Skidmore. Fraisy was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Weis Library United Methodist Church, a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Dorcas Class.

Fraisy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel E. Villers, Sr., six sisters and five brothers.

She is survived by two daughters: Mary Belle Griffiths of Fairview and Carmen Autera and her husband Michael of Dewey, AZ; a son, Sam Villers, Jr. and his wife Beverly of Harborcreek; two sisters: Ruth (Fulton) McCourt and Hazel Hamrick; 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at Weis Library United Methodist Church, 6020 Heidler Road, Fairview, with Rev. Frank Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Erie County Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Weis Library United Methodist Church.
