Florence E. Sparling Markham Mork, age 81, of Erie, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Edinboro Manor.
She was born in South Ripley, New York on July 21, 1931, a daughter of the late Ray and Nettie Perdue Sparling.
Florence graduated from Clymer Central High School in Clymer, NY. She was a member of Real Life Assembly Church and the Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her first husband, Cleno Markham, second husband, Herbert Mork, a son, Lyle Markham who died in November of 2012, Lyle's two children, Paul and Amber Markham, three brothers and a sister.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra Jaroszewicz and her husband Rich of Erie, two sons, Sheldon Markham of Erie and Gordon Markham of Virginia, a sister, Evelyn Bowman of Ashville, New York and six grandchildren, Tammy Zeppieri, Chris and Alyssa Jaroszewicz of Erie, Mike Markham and Nicole Howdyshell both of Virginia, and Brian Grice of Waterford, PA, and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Road, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David L. Roach of Harborcreek Baptist Church officiating.
Interment will follow in North East Cemetery.
