Florence Davis

Florence R. Davis, 98, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her home in Erie, Pennsylvania.

She was born on July 13, 1923, the daughter of the late Anna Draegert Reuss and Martin Reuss and the sister of the late Elizabeth Reuss Bolan.

She graduated from Academy High School in 1940 and attended Erie Commercial College. She worked at Perry School, General Electric Company and WICU TV, where she retired after 27 years as traffic manager in 1985.

She was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church for over 90 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Roy Davis and a grandson, Timothy M. Peterson.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan (Leonard) Peterson; two sons, Gary and Ronald Davis; a grandson, Matthew (Kerry) Peterson and a great grandson, Ezra Peterson.

No visiting hours will be observed, and a service will be held at the convenience of the family by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
