Evelyn M. Ellison Adams, 94, formerly of Erie and Eureka Rd., Edinboro, died Thurs., Nov. 7, 2013 at Edinboro Manor. She was born April 3, 1919 in Erie, daughter of the late John and Ellen Anderson Ellison. A 1938 graduate of Academy High School, she worked as an Inspector for Lovell Mfg. Co. and for Continental Rubber Works for several years and most recently worked for Value City Dept. Store retiring in 1991 with 20 years of service. She was a member of Luther Memorial Church and had been a member of the former Bethany Lutheran Church where she sang with the choir and taught Sunday School. She was a former member of the Siebenbuerger Singers.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Ellison.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth C. Adams, Sr. and wife Cheryl of Waterford and Ralph G. Adams of Edinboro; two daughters, Rebecca Justis of Girard and Christine Pellman and husband Ralph of Erie; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Friends may call Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., Erie. A service will be held there Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Coleman of Luther Memorial Church officiating. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Luther Memorial Church, 225 W. 10th St., Erie, PA 16501.
