Eugene Lytle

Eugene E. Lytle, age 83 of Erie, passed away Monday March 7, 2016 at Fairview Manor.

He was born in Erie on July 22, 1932, a son of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Fried) Lytle. He was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar and watching Steelers football. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Lytle, sister April Curtis and wife Marty (Spencer) Lytle.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Quirk, husband James; two sons, Ed Lytle, wife Becky and Mike Lytle, wife Jen, all of Erie; his companion, Janet Williams; brother, Robert Lytle and three sisters, Delores DeMichael, Patty Webber and Carol Ann Wingerter and six grandchildren; James, Dominic and Victoria Quirk and Michael, Nathan and Kaden Lytle along with one great grandson, Leo Quirk.

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 602 West 10th Street Erie, Pa. 16502 on Friday from 6:00 pm till the time of services there at 8:00 pm with the Reverend John Gerber officiating. Private burial will be in Erie County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family C/O Burton Funeral Home.
