Esther Swab

Esther Mary Majeski Swab, age 80, of Erie, departed from this world, Tuesday, March 31, 2015.

She was born in Erie, on May 3, 1934 a daughter of the late Walter and Eleanora Miller Majeski.

Esther graduated from Millcreek High School and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Asbury and Girard. She loved and enjoyed her family, the wonders of nature, singing around the campfire, bible study lessons and serving Jehovah. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald F. Swab, Sr.;son, Gerald F. Swab, Jr. and grandson, Eric Swab

Esther is survived by her daughter, Cynthia L. Garbulinski and her husband Edward of Erie; sons: David R. Swab and his wife Valerie of Fairview and Michael L. Swab of Lake City; daughter in law, Sandie Swab of Colorado; grandchildren: Jason Swab, Antoni Garbulinski, Michele Green and her husband Anthony, Steven Swab, Derek Swab and Tyler Swab; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 11 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses-Girard, 7200 Meadville Road, Girard. Burial will be private.
