Estella Moffett

Estella L. Moffett age 82, of Erie, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born in Collins, MS on March 13, 1934 a daughter of the late Aster and Maddie Knight Graves Sr. She spent her life as a homemaker and loved nothing more than taking care of her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Estella was preceded in death by her step mother, Tammer McGee- Graves, brothers, O.M. Graves and Aster Graves Jr., sisters; Della Jones and Dorothy Mae McGee along with two sons; Dwayne and Calvin Moffett. In addition to her husband Julius, she is survived by four children; Dewitt, Linda, Lane and Shirleen Moffett all of Erie. She also leaves sisters; Myrtle Barnes (John), Emma Lyons- Gray, along with brothers; Rev. Willie V. McGee, Michael Graves, and Willie Curtis Graves. Six grandchildren remain; Latoya, Lashawnda, Lavonna, Michael, Deja and Kierra. Seven great grandchildren also remain; Manuel, Jaquayza, Jamear, Vareon, Dareon, Coreon and Lamont. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, PA 16502 on Saturday, from 1:00 pm till the time of services there at 3:00 pm. Burial at Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
