Eric Wijkowski

Eric C. Wijkowski passed away at his family home after a long, courageous battle with esophageal cancer on November 29,2022 in the care of his loving mother. 

He was born in Elmira, NY on November 28, 1976.           

Although he lived most of his life in Erie, PA, he spent the past several years living in Buffalo, NY before coming back home to Erie in April of this year.           

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Paul Wijkowski and his stepfather Michael H. Simon.           

Survivors include his mother Susan M. Simon; sister Sarah A. Williams (Dennis J.); brother Gregory M. Simon, and nephew Maxwell S. Williams. 

Services will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spectrum Human Services, 1280 Main St., Buffalo, NY 14209, Attn: ACT ERIE or to Crisis Services, 2560 West 12^th St., Erie, PA 16505.
