Emma Terella

Emma Ann Terella, age 94, of Millcreek, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at UPMC Hamot following a brief illness.

She was born in Jerome, PA on April 28, 1922, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Mikus Barbich.

Anna was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and baking. She especially loved her “Yorkies”.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Terella, a son Gary Terella, a brother Frank Barbich and two sisters; Francis Summerson and Mildred Blazus.

She is survived by her son, Terry Terella of Erie; four grandchildren Leah and Michael Terella and Andrew and Adam Laskaris; and 3 great-grandchildren Tyler, Samuel and Mackenzie. She is further survived by a daughter-in-law Lori and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
