Emily Moore

Emily S. Moore age 31, of Fairview, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.

She was born in Geneva, NY on March 14, 1982 a daughter of Daniel and Carolynn Fusco Roll of Fairview.

She graduated from Fairview High School class of 2000 and went on to attend Canisius College and Edinboro University.

Emily enjoyed reading and writing and had amazing taste which made her an excellent shopper and designer. Her greatest love was being a mom to her son Aidan who meant the world to her. She was a big animals rights supporter and enjoyed volunteering at the City Mission with her mom where she was known as the “dessert Nazi”.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Aidan Thomas Moore; a sister, Mary K. Roll of Northeast; two brothers, Christopher R. Roll and his wife Kate of Girard and Matthew V. Roll of Fairview; grandfather, Anthony M. Fusco; grandmother, Hildreth B. Roll; a niece and nephew, Rachel and Lucas Vandenbrand and her first husband, Thomas Moore.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home 525 Main Street East Girard on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday at St. James Lutheran Church 6851 Old Ridge Road, Fairview PA 16415 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Brenda Martin officiating.

Memorials may be made to the family for Aidan in care of the Burton Funeral Home.
