Emil Zboyovski

Emil E. (Jay) Zboyovski Jr, age 66, of Erie, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born October 22, 1955 in Elmira, NY to the late Emil, and Elizabeth Zboyovski Sr.  He was a graduate of McDowell High School.

Jay worked at Skinner Engine for over 20 years, before working for General Electric as a welder for 13 years. He loved to ride his motorcycle, which he sold to his son Craig. Jay loved to go hunting with his kids at their families hunting camp. He would always say “God bless” to everyone, and would do anything for anyone who would ask him. He was a member of the Zukor Club, and a Siebenbuerger Club lifetime member. Jay loved the Atlanta Falcons; he enjoyed celebrating Christmas in July with his kids and grandkids. Jay had a heart of gold, everyone that knew him, loved him.

Jay is survived by his wife of 13 years, Linda S. Zboyovski, his children, Craig, Katie, and Curtis Zboyovski, his step children, Brian (Brenda) Newlin, and Eric (Ellie) Newlin; his siblings Michael (Linda) Zboyovski, and Kathy Zboyovski. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Layla Borowicz, Ashton Pernice, and Maddison Pernice; his step grandchildren, Austin, Angela, Leo, and Lydia Newlin. Jay is survived by his brothers in law, Jim Laird (Margaret), and Dan Laird (Tim Truelove), and a sister in law, Kathy Hoffman (Robert), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 1645 W. 8^th Street, Erie, PA.

Friends are invited to call on the family at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie, Friday, January 21, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a time of sharing starting at 7:00 p.m.

At the request of the family, masks will be required.
